Hi,
It's been a busy week. There was a Subject Networks meeting last Thursday- good to see colleagues. Also, I'm getting involved in a learner engagement project with Colin, Jennie and Gerry Cameron, which should prove interesting and rewarding.
On Monday I attended the QST meeting for Social Sciences at the SQA offices in Glasgow. A brief summary of the meeting can be seen on the Social Sciences PP page. The main thrust of the meeting was about the review of the HNC/HND awards that is starting NOW!!!!!
Wednesday, saw me attending a meeting with Graeme Clark of the SQA to progress the Social Sciences SOLAR project- I'm quite excited about it- lots of work to be done but should be worth it. I also managed to meet up with Martyn Ware of the SQA and firmed up progression on the HN Assessment Bank. So, thanks to Graeme and Martyn for those meetings- they are two excellent, professional, helpful people.
Today I've spent hours and hours working on updating people and dealing with e-mail enquiries.
